Wonderhood Design Brands Soho Church Coffee Shop – ‘Sacred Grounds’
Wonderhood Design has created the logo and branding for Sacred Grounds, a new coffee shop located in the heart of London’s Soho.
“A holy hit of caffeine, community spirit, and solace for all of Soho” is how the new space is being described, which officially launched just last week.
Located next to St Anne’s Church, the shop aims to create a space in which coffee and the community come together.
It also represents the first iteration of what is called the Neighbourly Fund, an annual pro-bono initiative launched by Wonderhood Design focused on supporting local Soho businesses through branding and design.
The Soho-based agency’s design team is said to have collaborated closely with the team at St. Anne’s Church to develop Sacred Grounds’ brand identity, helping to conceive not only the logo but also the name, bespoke fonts, colour palette, as well as advising on the shop’s interior and exterior design.
“The new brand world and visual identity, developed by Wonderhood Design, aims to create a brand narrative that truly encompasses the diverse human spirit of the neighbourhood and community of the church: welcoming all,” comments the agency’s co-founder and head of art, Simon Elvins.
