Hyperquake Creates Branding for The Brain Tumor Institute at Mayfield

Design agency Hyperquake has created the logo and branding for The Brain Tumor Institute at Mayfield.

The new initiative is being spearheaded by the Mayfield Education & Research Foundation, an affiliate of Mayfield Brain & Spine, which is said to be one of America’s premier independent neurosurgery practices.

With an 87-year legacy, the latter boasts a team of 20 neurosurgeons, one orthopedic spine surgeon, and six interventional pain physicians, who together reportedly served over 32,700 patients in 2024.

“In the best traditions of Mayfield, the Brain Tumor Institute will expand our collaborations with physicians, researchers, specialists, and hospital leaders to push the boundaries of research and clinical care,” says Dr. Vincent DiNapoli, chairman of Mayfield’s Board of Directors and director of the Brain Tumor Institute.

Adding: “Patients will be confident that they can receive the best possible brain tumour care, right here in Greater Cincinnati.”

Ohio-headquartered Hyperquake is said to have worked directly with Mayfield’s marketing team to craft the new identity, which aims at position The Brain Tumor Institute as the “premier destination for advanced brain tumour care”.

For us, it’s not about putting a stamp on the work, it’s a matter of getting out of the way and shining a light on the truly amazing work they do every day,” comments Brandon Dawson, Hyperquake’s executive director of brand strategy and experience.
