Pango Group and Total Security Reveal New Name and Logo Following Merger

Pango Group, a company that buys and operates various cybersecurity brands, has merged with Total Security, the creator of the antivirus software Total AV.

The new brand will be called “Point Wild” and is expected to make $600 million in revenue each year, according to company bosses.

With a total value of $1.7 billion, they further say it is projected to grow by over 20% each year.

“In a constantly connected world, demand for privacy and security services for both consumers and enterprises has never been greater. And, integrating these two industry leaders in cybersecurity will enable the combined company, Point Wild, to steadily scale,” reckons Hari Ravichandran, founder and CEO of the newly-formed Point Wild.

Adding: “The combined business is profitable and its brands are well positioned to win in the global cybersecurity market.”

Point Wild will focus on three main sales channels: direct-to-consumer, partner, and enterprise.

The company, which includes well-known brands like Total AV, HotSpot Shield, UltraAV, Betternet, CyEx, Simpluris, and Comparitech, claims to protect 25 million users and businesses worldwide.
