Fastest Ferrari Ever Gets ‘Superfast’ Name and Logo
Ferrari has revealed a new 12-cylinder berlinetta that is the most powerful and fastest series production model in the brand’s entire history.
Created specially to mark the company’s 70th anniversary, this superfast Ferrari will also be carrying the “Superfast” tag in its name and logo.
Officially called the “812 Superfast”, the car is powered by a new 6.5-litre V12 engine that generates 789 bhp and 530 lb-ft of torque, all of which helps deliver a top speed of over 211 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just 2.9 seconds.
A derivative of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf, the two-door model’s exterior styling, meanwhile, is said to have been inspired by the Ferrari 365 GTB4 ‘Daytona’ from 1969.
The new car, which is also finished in a special new colour dubbed “Rosso Settanta”, will make its official public debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show.
