Music Minds Matter Gets New Logo and Graphics by Offthetopofmyhead
Offthetopofmyhead has created the new logo and visual identity for mental health charity, Music Minds Matter.
Part of the Help Musicians group, the organisation provides a dedicated 24/7 support service for people working in the UK music industry.
The charity has reportedly witnessed a 200% increase in the number of calls made to its helpline over the last two years.
With a refreshed look, Music Minds Matter is hoping to raise its profile so that it can help draw in more supporters as well as raise much needed funds.
“Music Minds Matter’s thought bubble-inspired logo and graphic identity will help promote its service, raise awareness of the need to invest in positive mental health, and increase its reach and appeal to potential donors, both corporate and individual,” explains Offthetopofmyhead’s founder and creative director, John Spencer.
Adding: “Although Music Minds Matter’s logo and identity is distinct from that of its parent, Help Musicians, there is a clear family likeness to connect the two charities. We’ve worked with Help Musicians’ palette and created a new colour balance. The identity also features Help Musicians’ typefaces, Fugue and Apercu.”
“Our new graphic identity has flexibility at its heart, and we’re excited to be implementing it across new collateral to raise awareness of the charity and the difference it can make,” further comments Help Musicians’ deputy chief executive, Sarah Woods.
The new branding is expected to roll out across both digital and physical touchpoints over the coming months.
