Marvel Studios Unveils ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Logo

Marvel Studios has revealed the logo design for upcoming movie “Thor: Ragnarok”. Producer Kevin Feige showed off the official new logo at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

The logotype takes on somewhat of a retro, 80’s video game design. What this implies for the look and feel of the film and its storyline is open to question.

As a sequel to 2011’s Thor and 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, the new film will become the third instalment in the series. The latest movie will also feature Dr. Bruce Banner aka Hulk when it hits the screens in the summer of 2017.

Directed by comedian Taika Waititi with a screenplay by Stephany Folsom, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, and Tom Hiddleston.
