Logo and Print Design for ‘Paper Magazine’
Paper represents a proposal for a new print magazine aimed at origami practitioners and paper arts enthusiasts, with the publication’s goal being to promote and spread knowledge about the art of paper folding.
The imaginary magazine publication has been conceived and designed as a conceptual academic project by student Tan Ming Li, who is currently completing her final year studies in Visual Communications at Singapore’s Temasek Polytechnic.
Inspired by origami, the custom Paper typeface was specially designed for the masthead as it appears on the magazine’s front page.
Ming has also designed an emerging, folding animated variation of the logo as part of her proposal.
