Ice Cream and Dessert Café: Honey & Bee

Having originally studied in Cairo in Egypt, Emad Daoud is now a widely experienced graphic designer who has worked all over the Middle East.

Currently based in Saudi Arabia, Emad recently completed this brand identity and packaging design project for a coffee-come-dessert parlour in Riyadh city.

Interestingly, the design avoids any traditional Arabo-Islamic styling cues, and instead opts for a contemporary visual feel that is delicate, almost feminine in form. Abstract flying bees seem to form and interconnect the looping cursive letters, adding a dash of playfulness and humour to the overall logo-mark.
