Honda Reveals New ‘H’ Mark as the Logo for Its Future Electric Cars
Honda has revealed a new “H” mark that will be used exclusively for its next-generation of electric cars.
The Japanese brand is planning to launch the “0 Series”, an all-new EV model range, in 2026.
The series name is said to represent the firm’s ambition of going back to its roots as a car manufacturer and “creating completely new EVs from zero”.
It further claims to reference the brand’s aim of achieving “zero environmental impact” throughout a car’s life cycle, as well as “zero traffic collision fatalities” through the use of new safety technologies.
The existing “H” mark has a history dating back to 1981 when it was renewed from the previous iteration.
“This design expression, like two outstretched hands, represents Honda’s commitment to augment the possibilities of mobility and sincerely serve the needs of the users of Honda EVs,” says the company about the latest design, which debuted yesterday at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The manufacturer also debuted two new concept cars (pictured below) at this year’s event.
Dubbed the “Saloon” (black) and “Space-Hub” (white), both preview the design language of what will become the first models in the 0 Series range.
