Branding Design for ‘VILLA BUDAPEST’
Villa Budapest is an historic cultural and gastronomic venue in Budapest. It sits at the heart of the city’s World Heritage site, and boasts architectural interventions by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
Creative agency Construct was given the responsibility for envisioning the Villa’s brand positioning. The London-based studio was involved in the project on a number of levels, from advising on naming, service, personality and content to creating the overall aesthetic.
The Villa logotype plays with the concept of time, and is balanced with a minimalist palette, with specific attention paid to tactility and material quality, from embossed inks to a specially double-bound brand book.
