Identity Design for ‘LISI – THE HOUSE’
The L.I.S.I. house concept (Living Inspired by Sustainable Innovation) is Austria’s contribution to the Solar Decathlon 2013 competition. Hosted by the US Department of Energy, the biennial competition challenges collegiate teams from around the world to design, build, and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive.
Austria’s team entry is headed by the country’s Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology and has been developed in conjunction with the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), the St. Pölten Universtiy of Applied Sciences, the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT).
Creative agency perezramerstorfer, founded and run by duo Martina Pérez and Rodrigo Pérez, was engaged to design LISI’s logo and visual identity. The Viennese-based consultancy developed the project, which includes a variety of print and digital promotional material, over a period lasting some 12 months.
