BioCentriq Rebrands, Reveals New Name and Logo

BioCentriq, a company specialising in cell therapy contract development and manufacturing (CDMO), has unveiled its rebranding as “Made Scientific”.

The transformation is said to come in light of the company’s ongoing growth and evolution, alongside the announcement of its new headquarters – a 60,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to clinical and commercial operations in Princeton, New Jersey.

“The new name, Made Scientific, signifies an emboldened mission to accelerate life-saving cell therapies from development to commercialisation,” says the American firm.

“We spent time listening – to startups, established large pharma companies, academic medical centres, biotechs, and scientists pushing the boundaries of cell therapy,” further comments Syed T. Husain, chairman and CEO of Made Scientific.

Adding: “The same themes emerged again and again: scalability is a challenge, vendor flexibility is rare, and manufacturing readiness is often an afterthought. We knew that if we could create a CDMO  model that addressed these gaps, we’d be solving real problems for innovators.”

Founded in 2019, BioCentriq was bought out by Korea’s top biopharmaceutical company, GC, in 2022.

At the start of last year, the company disclosed that it had secured $29.2 million in investment capital.
