Credit-Building Platform Firstcard Reveals New Logo and Branding
Credit-building platform Firstcard has launched a new brand identity and website.
The American firm has simultaneously announced its expansion into new markets having initially focused on helping college students establish better credit.
It will now be extending its services to immigrants, international students, expats, non-U.S. citizens, and individuals with low credit scores in the States.
“Our new brand is designed to resonate with and reflect the characteristics and aspirations of Firstcard’s diverse community of members who are navigating the complexities of credit building and striving to achieve the American Dream,” explains Ma Qing, chief marketing officer at Firstcard.
Adding: “The modern and bold design of the new brand captures the energy and ambition of the communities we serve.”
The fintech start-up was founded in 2023 by immigrant entrepreneur Kenji Niwa, who moved to the United States after selling his first startup in Japan.
When he first arrived, Kenji says he faced many challenges securing a credit card and car loan due to his lack of credit history.
Having realised that he was not alone and that many immigrants, international students, and people with low credit scores faced similar obstacles, Kenji decided to build Firstcard with a mission “to democratise credit building for all”.
