Taki Games Reveals New Name and Logo
Mobile gaming network, Taki Games, has announced its rebrand to “Unite”.
The company is responsible for creating free to download games – such as “Bored Button” and “Mom’s Kitchen” – that are linked by a player-owned Web3 ecosystem.
Gamers benefit from shared in-game revenue, earning rewards either as a gift card or native token.
The latter has also been renamed to align with the new identity, now being called “$UNITE” instead of “TAKI”.
Unite’s games have reportedly been downloaded millions of times while the number of its monthly active users is said to have reached 300,000.
The company’s co-founder, Kevin Chou, originally founded Kabam, which was behind the creation of successful mobile game titles like “Marvel Contest of Champions”.
Kabam was subsequently acquired in 2017 by Korean mobile game giant Netmarble and FoxNext Games for a staggering $1 billion.
