Identity Design for Film Producer, ‘Blickfang Media’

Blickfang Media is a film and television production agency headquartered in Munich, Germany.

The company commissioned Dortmund-based graphic designer Ramin Nasibov to create its identity. The brief asked for a simple, easily recognisable, and memorable logo design.

Ramin’s idea was to merge the letter “B” with the profile of a vintage movie camera in a creative way. The adjoining text element is further framed in horizontal lines in imitation of a film tape strip, explains the designer.

Seeking a classical vintage-style typeface, Ramin opted to go with ITC Century as his choice of font.
